The Makoro Septic Extension is a purpose-built access riser designed to increase the height and accessibility of Makoro septic tanks where deeper burial or additional ground cover is required. Engineered to maintain convenient access for inspection, maintenance, and desludging, the extension provides a simple and reliable solution for installations where the septic tank lid would otherwise be positioned below finished ground level.

Manufactured from durable, UV-stabilised polyethylene, the extension measures 550 mm in height, features a 500 mm outer diameter, and incorporates a 420 mm threaded connection designed specifically for Makoro septic tanks. The threaded design allows the extension to screw securely onto the septic tank neck, while the original Makoro septic lid can then be screwed directly onto the top of the extension, maintaining a secure and watertight connection throughout the system.

Weighing approximately 4 kg, the extension is lightweight, easy to handle, and quick to install. Its robust construction provides excellent impact resistance and long-term durability in underground environments while ensuring continued access to the septic system after backfilling.
